  1. Original Content:
Ideally, all content (text and photos) on your website should be original, created only for you. This is the simplest, and avoids any complications ever.
  2. Content from newspapers:
Avoid republishing content first published on newspapers without prior written permission.
  3. Videos from YouTube:
You can embed videos using YouTube’s embed option. As of Aug 2015, https://www.youtube.com/t/terms says “You agree not to distribute in any medium any part of the Service or the Content without YouTube’s prior written authorization, unless YouTube makes available the means for such distribution through functionality offered by the Service (such as the Embeddable Player).”
  4. Photos:
All photos either have to be original, or purchased from royalty free sources such as GettyImages / DreamsTime, or free image websites allowing web quality pictures free without attribution. Usage of photos from Wikipedia is conditional, and not all are free to use without attribution. We thus avoid using them for commercial businesses.
