BEYOND BUSINESS

Beyond Business

As a corporate citizen, Sancoale Technologies takes the view that a business with the means to give back should do so deliberately, not as an afterthought. We invest time and resources beyond client work, at both the non-profit and industry-association level, focused mainly on education and digital enablement.

SANCOALE DAKSH

Digital enablement, delivered with students.

Sancoale Daksh is our digital enablement initiative, first piloted through a partnership with GIM Give Goa, the community outreach arm of the Goa Institute of Management. The project applies Sancoale’s own digital marketing methodology to support community-facing organisations, with GIM students acting as the delivery team under Sancoale’s guidance.

It’s a model that does two things at once: it gives students hands-on experience delivering real client work, and it gives smaller community organisations access to a level of digital execution they wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford. We plan to expand this model through Inner Wheel and similar community partnerships as it matures.

EDUCATION

Where we concentrate most of our effort.

Education is where we concentrate most of our effort outside client work:

  • Lalit sits on the governing councils of two schools
  • Sancoale contributes directly to under-resourced schools
  • Proceeds from Lalit’s own artwork are donated as books to schools in need
  • Ongoing focus on women’s financial independence and student innovation, alongside the core education commitment
INSTITUTIONAL AND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

A seat at the table, not arm’s length from it.

Lalit’s institutional roles give Sancoale’s community work a seat at the table where industry and education policy is actually discussed, rather than operating at arm’s length from it:

  • Past Chairman, CII Goa
  • Member, CII National Committee on Skills and Livelihood
  • Member, CII Western Region Council
  • Member, Managing Committee, Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI)
ROTARY CLUB OF VASCO DA GAMA

Education projects with lasting impact.

Lalit was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Dabolim, which later merged with the Rotary Club of Vasco da Gama. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and has attended Rotary meetings in three countries. His Rotary involvement has focused specifically on education projects with measurable, lasting impact rather than one-off charitable gestures.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions worth answering upfront.

Is Beyond Business connected to Sancoale’s paid client work?

No. These are separate commitments, funded and run independently of client engagements. The only overlap is methodology – Sancoale Daksh applies the same disciplined, governed approach we use for clients to community projects, because that approach works regardless of who it’s for.

Can a school or non-profit request support from Sancoale?

Yes – reach out and describe what you’re working on. Capacity for new community partnerships is limited, since these projects are run alongside client work, but we’re always open to hearing about a genuine fit, particularly in education or student innovation.

If you’re building something in education, community development, or student innovation and think there’s a fit, get in touch.
